Every lesson will include a safety briefing, fundamentals of SUP and lots of paddling. We also discuss the weather, wind and tides.

This is a water-based activity so it is inevitable you may get wet. Dress appropriately for the conditions you will be paddling in.
- At a minimum you need to bring swimwear / sportswear or a wetsuit. Old runners or wa-er-shoes / neoprene socks are essential.
- A towel to dry off and change.
- A dry change of clothes.
- A water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Suncream, cap or glasses.

I have always been on or around the water from a young age. Growing up I spent most of my summers in lovely Leitrim on the river Shannon.
I love all sports and I consider myself to be a very active person. I currently play GAA, hurling, padel tennis and Golf. Although as I am getting older I have also taken up positions as coach / manager and most recently refereeing.
